quiet one for me, used to do security at the hogmany event in Edinburgh but, the last few years I have just stayed in with the family. Preffer to wake up nice and fresh on new years day.

Going to the pub first and then onto a party, I'm drving, my turn lol, Liz did xmas day, and we got pulled, good job, she hadn't had a single drop. They were very disappointed when the reading came back at zero.

Wife working till midnight....... But have family staying from Canada and England, so steaks cooked on the barbie for 12 of us, followed by copious amounts of Gentleman Jack. God knows what state we'll be in by time the wife gets home.

Had planned to do our usual party for mates who have kids but really cane be bothered this year. Did Xmas eve drinks and hosted Xmas day so think thats enough for one holiday.

Favourite reataurant booked for 8 friends ( all the wifes) then down onto the quayside in Newcastle to welcolme in the New Year with 150,000 other revellers.

2000 was the best! - Couldn't get moved and the fireworks off 'The Bridge' was magnificent.

There has been some pretty cold New Years Eves - one about 2005 I had to wear a shirt!
