Hey all,

New to the forum so go easy ;)

I've finished tiling my bathroom floor with honed marble tiles (30cm x 30cm). We are having microcement on the walls around the shower area. (Wetroom style, used a preformed tray).

The first question is what grout should I use? The concern I have is that if the grout is too porous would it pull moisture through the grout and up behind the microcement? When browsing the World Wide Web I've seen this occur on a plastering forum.

The second question is...As there are so many sealers out there, which one do I choose? There are so many to pick from.

The third question is, will sealing the floor and grout alleviate my worries? from what I understand the sealer is there to stop water penetration?

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks all!
