I'm a little confused about how to apply the tanking tape!

1. if both sides of the tape are to be behind tiles, ie in a vertical corner, do I still need to remove the scrim from the edge?

2. should the tape be applied scrim side to the wall, or rubber side to the wall?

3. do I need to peel the scrim off the tape after application?

Probably silly questions but I can't work it out from the leaflet.

Many thanks for any help!

The scrim side goes to the wall, and the liquid is designed to seep through the scrim part, which also has a second coat applied on top . This is to reinforce the corner, and when the scrim is soaked in liquid, it too becomes waterproof.
You should not cut off the scrim!!!
