I have a 180 sqm Floor to tile on s and c screed with ufh . Customer does not want to use movement membrane (ditra ,dural etc ) I won't do it without. Just wondering how many of you would .
I would need more details of the tile to be used and layout/dimensions of the area.
Have exspansion joints been incorporated into the screed in the correct locations already?
As above has the UFH been commissioned properly?
All things being equal then yes I would tile it.

Uncoupling Theory Explained (Part 2) | Schlüter-Systems - http://www.schluter.co.uk/uncoupling-theory-explained-part-2.aspx

paragraph 7 - "Neutralising stresses by uncoupling the building structure from the tile is particularly important with the use of today's thinner, larger-format tiles and lightweight building materials. "

Have they added to this now???

If solid-bedded, I'd be very amazed if a high heel could damage 4mm porcelain on ditra.
Not saying it's impossible but I can't see it myself, even with a 24 stone lady in louboutins!
