Going to islay at the end of September for 4 days that is total switch off
hi ali, we went to a 4 star last time in tunisia and it was pretty good all round we stupidly opted for a 3 star this time if going to tunisia i would say 4 star or 5 only...we still had a good holiday but the rooms were shabby etc in the 3 star

We went to "Les Orangers" in Hammamet the first week of June. Cracker of a place.......all inclusive 24 hours a day. Even sitting on the beach with ya feet in the water.
Need another holiday already.........so we may go somewhere in September.

I went away last month to Egypt and it already seems like a distant memory! I need to get something else booked, it's nice to have something to look forward to.

5 Days for me then off to Alcudia :hurray: Cant come quick enough !
We went when my lad was still young enough to come with us oldens......it still makes us snigger. Fighting to get to the lavy as we BOTH had the squits at the same time.
Then the day after we both thought we were over it........we went for a quad bike safari. Sand in the desert is NOT as soft as you think......and we both had to fight for the lavy when we got back. :lol:
Oh the memory's.
Would go again.......but take our own lav roll.

yep, went to pick it up yesterday and all that was there was my reg plate and hitch lock that had been sawn off with an angle grinder

it was on private land under cover Dave, a neighbours old silage pit. They let us store it there as it was very hard to see from any roads, but access wasn't gated unfortunately.

After not having been on holiday for 3/4 yrs now I think I'd better give in to the missus and let her have her way.......has anyone any recommendations for Cuba or Dominican Rep in Jan or Feb?
