How much does a tilers apprentice get?

£132 a week , 1st year then goes up every year .
Ive had a few , one lad has been with me for 12 years now .
Lets me tile while he plasters other jobs.
Ive told him many a time to go SE , ive even offered him a few of my contacts , just doesn't want the hassle , no van or phone or tax to pay for , gets his wage EVERY week , its a bloody wet dream 🙂

I pay our apprentice 650 a month plus college fees plus travel exps. He is 17 and just started. I have told him it's a trial basis and he can leave at any time. You will soon know if he's any good and commited. In the past I've had them last from as little as 2 days to fully trained. They will always move on when it suits them not you. If they are making you money pay them more look at a bonus on good jobs and it will work for you if they are worth it. Most important thing is they are all different and what you think will be a good one will not and an iffy one will
