How best to Tile a room?

Yeah but it shows how the light doesn't just shine down . That early morning or sunset light is a killer for lots of floors.

To be honest, I've tiled over worse than that. As long as he gets the next batches mixed quick enough at the right consistency I think he'll be alright.

quick lick of SLC and with the use of the clips, the job will look as good as any other I reckon.
Obvs time and effort will have cost more, but the end result will be fine.

Nice to see everyone in high spirits lol, silly question.. Which way is best to Silicon packers, flat edge to floor or the underneath?

The highest point of the room I've choose is by the power cable which is proud, so I've put a packer 1-2 mm higher next to it, so I'm using that as my starting point, the highest difference is about 10mm, so that's quite a bit more than a light covering, I used 11 1/2 bags first time, and I've got exactly 11 1/2 bags now, keeping in mind my initial pour and my proposed pour next time, is it going to be to thick for the mats to produce adequate heat? The only change that I can make to my approach is to not cover the power leads fully and change my starting height which will be 2 hours work wasted. What do you think, keep going as I am?

You need to answer the question you have avoided all along regarding height issues. Work backwards from what height you have to work with. This will tell you if you have extra to play with or you may already be too high.

That's 5 hours I won't get back, hopefully it won't look like the moon tomorrow!
And think of the smug look you can have on your face tomorrow if it works. 🙂
Don't forget mix to max water content,
LET IT STAND for 2-3mins
and re mix with mechanical mixer
and good luck.

Your first set of images when you first latex'd the roller marks were visible.
You either waited to long or you over used it.
Use roller immediately and don't return to that area, only along edges of the join. As soon as the latex starts to go, the roller will pull it out if you keep going over same spot.
This is why it was suggested earlier that you have everything ready to go, even the buckets of water. There's no down time, it's full speed from min you mix first bucket.

Wasn't the best day but it is better, so we used up all of the 10 bags, ran out, spiked roller was seized so troweled it, there are some ridges but at most they are a few mm, so another 10 bags turning up today, I will use the spirit level to push a little bit in centre, doesn't look great but the cables are fully covered and it's pretty level apart from a slight ridge which I hope to sort out today.

So you've used about 22 bags so far and another 10 to go. And if I'am correct this was to cover 3mm UFH cable. Excluding any labour costs it must be about £500 and rising. For those planning to do it themselves it's certainly worth making a note.
