We have a site with Miller Homes in Saltcoats, Cumbrae Gardens, only have a couple of houses to go & the site is gubbed.

Done a lot of new builds & renovations round Largs in the past couple of years, ok in the summer but not nice over the winter, had more snow in Largs last year than in Cumnock.

Stick around on this site as its a "GoldMine" of knowledge.

I know the site your talking about doesn't look like there is much happening there though, I stopped doing subcontract work a few years ago because I got sick of chasing money in circles. Work is tight right now but been picking up some work on Arran recently. good to here from another loyal tradesman from ayrshire.

My mate works quite a bit on Arran,

Alex Baird Double Glazing, you might see their van on the ferry, his son Davie is my drinking partner!! :8:

Theres not a lot happening down at Saltcoats, we are back next week to finish those 2 houses off then try & get back to do 5 front door platts.

We are ok for the money getting paid to us as we are family friendly with the MD, it helps.

Hope you get through the rough months of Jan, Feb & March mate.

I've seen your mates van right enough. There's no problem getting paid the way I work now (probably should not have said that!) the days of having loads of men and chasing money are past for me now.
