It still only states "When cured it is water resistant and suitable for internal and external use."

Again, am I missing something?
 
its water resistant not waterproof

I dont think a powder addy would have broke down with occasional wetting, its more likely that a dispersion addy was used and the failure is nothing to do with the grout
 
it could be a number of reasons not solid walls with spring as mentioned above tubbed stuff lack of Silicon in internal corners think we need more info on this substrate adh tile size thanks

What was the exact name of the granfix grout you used?
How long had it been in the tile joints before the walls were subject to wetting?
Has there been any movement in the substrate?

lots of products these days use water as a base for water proofing
