hi had to fix some tiles today from tile store and they were a glazed porcelian which were really rough they were black with a glitter like affect. a nightmare to cut and even worse to grout spent 3 hours cleaning the floor after grouting and i cant get all the haze off anyone one got any good tips to get it off thanks

are you sure they were porcelain and not quartz/composite tiles with transit wax on them?

hi no a glazed porcelain but the glaze felt like sandpaper when you rubbed your hand across them i asked tile store if they needed sealing and they told me no.i grouted with silver grey grout so and gave the floor numerous washes with clean water as i knew this was gonna be a nightmare but i had no choice and had to do it

yes it looks like them but on the box it says they are porcelian the shop told me they didn t need sealing?

oddly enough I'm doing a bathroom floor early next week with them, I've cleaned and sealed them.
