Gap between ceiling and tiles - Tile Advice

Hello, we’ve just had a bathroom tiled. A 1.5cm gap is at the top, between the tiles and ceiling, which has been grouted. I wondered if this was normal? I think it looks slightly odd and worry that such thick grout will crack and look bad over time. I wondered if there was any way of fixing it? Many thanks!

Here’s a picture of the tiling, it’s a consistent gap all the way round.
