Need some advise please. I'm about to start tiling my bathroom all walls and floor. My question is, would i put the floor tiles under the wall tiles, or finish all the walls then butt the floor tiles to the wall tiles. Many thanks. Roy.

Either way is fine.

I prefer to tile all the walls first.
Others leave out the bottom cuts untill the floor is done
And other do the floor first, but they are mental 😉

If you put a bead of Silicon around where both meet, as you should, you wont know which way it has been done , anyway.

I do walls first then floors. Don't see what difference it make though, personally.

walls 1st (to the floor ) then ply and tile the floor
wood expands and contracts and"could " put presher on the wall tiles , loosening them in time

Wood expands and contracts laterally WAY more than vertically! If the floor swelled enough to pop off the wall tiles - i think the wall tiles would be the smallest problem:thumbsup:

I always tile walls first, leaving off the bottom row. Tile the floor nice and tight (not too tight, mind!) to the wall and then drop the last row of wall tiles down to the floor (using a 1mm spacer on the floor) and Silicon where the wall meets the floor - thus allowing for slight expansion & contraction

if it works for you bud fine
seems like your making extra work to me
but wot the f£ck do i know

NO 2 tilers will work the same way........both ways are correct as long as you leave expansion room and then Silicon the joint , then no probs......🙂
