Thought I would create an album to show progress of new ensuite.

Not sure how to link it from here though.......

Thanks, it took a day just to set out, I had the shower tray , shower seat, bath lip, 2 windows (which I had to end up cutting out the top to make it work). To get over. The gap at the top was the best I could get after all options were weighed out. it was bigger, so I ended up putting another sheet of backer board on the top facing bath/seat area to raise it another 5mm.

I will grout all the top, mask it then run some white paint (same as ceiling) to make it fall into the ceiling and make it vanish that way, worked ok in my last bathroom

I don't like coving or similar in a fully tiled wall, looks odd, when I did my main bathroom which already had coving I wished I had removed it first, still bugs me.

Had a good week, last wall nearly 1/2 done, just got bath surround, window reveals and alcove to tile. Then starts the grouting.

I have put a few more update pics in my album. Finished grouting and had several wipes.

Now just having a look at at fitting the cabinets.

All my base cabinets have been fitted today and I have inserted my digital control for the bath and basin, looking great.

Wow, that's gonna look really high-end, well done. Take your time on the finishes now, don't forget how much time you spend sat on the toilet / in the bath looking around!

Thanks @p4ulo, yes not rushing. Took 3 weeks to tile lol. Looks amazing, very pleased with myself and wife happy with it too.

Good Good day today, finished off all the wall cabinets including pelmet lighting and under cabinet lighting. Fitted all doors and toilet roll cabinet.

Also fitted the Taptile Touch controls under tile and siliconed Inn. Works even better now in proper position.

I am very impressed with the Taptile Control, works really well.

Just got the sticker kn for the moment. Got 2 options, use the etching kit that they do which is some kinda acid that eats away a few mm of the tile (using a template lieut he sticker) then those get filled with the grout. Or I found some really thin 2mm chrome round mosaic tiles which I may position on top. But got to test the acid on a spare tile as they are not glazed so don't know if that will work.

Been busy last few days, here is some latest pics. Shower digital controls all installed, handles on and worktops on and blinds up.

As you know the new ensuite is part of the extension we had, just thought I would share the other side of the ensuite.

You still like the Artex then ....broken leather pattern.

Lol, yeah I do like a bit of broken leather, I am liking the smooth ceiling but we had the whole house done years ago, so matched the new bedroom the same. Besides when you are lying in bed it looks like ice cream.
