Tried them G.... But still end up sweating like a naughty man wearing a duffle coat!

I wouldn't know one of them.... you better leave well alone then.. back to gloves in a bottle, or be a hard guy like Dave..

I was only joking about peeing..

But i only wear gloves when grout burns appear.. apart from that never wear them..

I am considering tiling as a career option and was wondering do any tilers where gloves - either all the way throgh an installation or at some part of tile fixing, thanks.

And that's your career changing deciding factor is it? 😀

Only messing. 😀

Same here.

Though I used to wear them before the bigger jobs as it was quite predictable when it was going to be sore. Normally always the large wall jobs more than floor. I guess the more course sand in the wide joint grouts tend not to irritate the pores as much as fine sand in wall grout?

I find that the white (Portland cent based) adhesives cause my skin to split on my fingers. Thats when the Silverline Marigold style nitrile gloves come out. We are all different in our genetic build, so you have to work to your own strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately that means try by experimentation (dont think any lasting damage is caused) or just wear gloves anyway.

As for Body Shop..... you could try this as an alternative to refurbish your hands in event of any drying out/splits etc.

i never wear glove's unless it's epoxy/resin ,and my trotters have been in the lot, But i do get dermatitis on one finger tip, it's weird the finger tip go's white then i lose feeling in it, then it peel's and go's sore then heal's until the next time

A good enough reason to wear gloves then ??

I just keep peeing on mine.. keeps them clean and tough.. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
