Doh! Cheers mate. Using tapatalk and its hard to navigate around it all at times!
Are those lasers easy to obtain (or something similar?)

Also Gary the tiler added an Irwin laser to one of his cutters, not sure how well it works but you could try asking him. It actually bolts to the spindle and rotates with the wheel.
I fixed a laser to my Dewalt but it wasn't very successful.

Well I have just received a laser, battery pack, CNC alloy mounting bracket and shrink tubing from an engineering firm to fit to my Dewalt.
I only have to get an L-shaped bracket fabricated to mount it all on the machine now. That should be completed in the next week or so.
I will post up pics to show you how it go's.

Thats exactly the same as I had , I cant say I found it useful though and never use it now. If I had known you could have had mine.

Would be good if it works right but a 600/1000mm rule pressed against one side of the blade works fine for us penny pinchers.

Not sure on the accuracy of lasers as you've got to allow for the blade thickness. Best one I seen was on a Festool mitre saw that had a laser on each side of the blade so you could see where the blade was actually going to hit.

I have focused the lens so that the beam of the laser is the same width as the blade. Shall see how it go's.

tried mitreing some hard porcelain with the standard dewalt blade on sunday and it was pretty poor to be honest the blade flexed away form the tile and gave an uneven diminishing edge
