What is the correct dilution for primer G on cement render? (the render has some SBR already mixed in and has totally cured/ dried)

The Mapei pdf does not give an exact figure but says 1:1 to 1:3 depending on absorbency. Preumably the more absorbent the more you dilute?

How can I tell if it needs more thinning when it is applied?

I'm thinking 1:1?

The adhesive is bagged and the tiles porcelain.

I'd try 1:3 first.. brush that on, if the floor is porous and soaking it up fast then carry on. If its not soaking it up that quick and you are getting good coverage then go for 1:1.. to be fair I've never had primer G ever skin on a surface, so you can't go too wrong. Cheers
