Christmas countdown - 70 days to go

So there's the sentence to send quite a few people into panic mode. We've started buying a few presents here and there but not really got any ideas about what to get people, as normal :yikes:

But I'm more concerned with Christmas Trees this year. Our fake tree is looking a bit sparse now, as it's had 10 good years of wear and tear.

So, should we buy another fake or go for a real tree this year? I've created a poll so people can vote.

I got a Norway Spruce one year. Would never do it again. The needles get everywhere! I kept finding them up to 6 months later. I've a nice 8' plastic one. Looks the business, does the job & best of all, no mess! I've a 20' conifer in my garden. That's the closest ill have to a real one again. Looks nice lit up in the snowy winter

last year i was sent out by the wife to get a new artificial xmas tree, i got what i thought was a cracking bargin......£4.99 from tesco, 6 footer as well, wife wasn't happy though, said she seen more branches on a telegraph pole, so this year im leaving it up to her..!!!!

I've done some research this afternoon. A 6ft Nordsman fur real tree will set me back £80 ish, and a 6ft decent looking fake tree will set me back about the same... so, it's decision time, real or fake?

The thing I like about Xmas.........easter eggs are on sale......ITS TOO EARLY. I read that Harrods had their Xmas display started in June. Mental!!!!!

Fake, then it can be used every year and can come with all the lights as well not as a one off and discarded.....
