Hello all. I am seeking some advice please.
I am fitting some mirror fronted bathroom cabinets into a now redundant window recess as part of a refurbishment.
I could tile and trim the rebates, but I,d have to get the dimensions absolutely spot on to make the cupboard a tight fit, and I don't want any tight gaps where dust/insects/water can get into.

I have seen some bathroom brochures where the niches are lined with thin wooden panels that protrude slightly. What kind of wood is this likely to be for a bathroom environment? I was thinking I could frame and line the rebate and then tile up to the sides of the wood.

Alternatively, are there any suitable types of tile trim that will give a nice finish?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.
