Hey all need some advice so I can follow the same when doing my bathroom.
My pensioner sister is having a bathroom refurb which consists of replacing a bath with a cubicle shower and fitting new toilet and basin. She's also having quite expensive porcelain wall to ceiling tiles & floor tiles installed. The size of the room is 3sqm. The fitter who is doing the work will be putting pipework under floor so is ripping up existing wooden floorboards and says he will replace with chipboard. I've read conflicting views about chipboard with some tilers saying dont use and others saying its fine so need some advice as its her life savings going on this so dont want her to have future costly problems with water damage or cracked tiles etc.
