been looking into which grout to use.Have used Wickes adhesive which seems universally recommended, but their grout doesn't get the same reviews, so I'm thinking about Bal Microflex for my bathroom, which was suggested by Topps.
Has anyone got any ideas about this.It was recommended because of it's non-fast dryingness, mould resistance and colour fastness(white).
And any tips on using it would be helpful, thanks.
Mike

Thanks, but which Mapei grout would be suitable and have the same properties as the Bal,bearing in mind that I'm a novice and don't really want a fast drying grout.
Also what makes Mapei a better grout than Bal, as a matter of interest?

i like bal grouts, use them all the time, microflex is a good grout just change you water regular, and dont leave it on the tile to long or it will be a right pain to get off, just do a couple of m2 at a time and you should be fine.

Hi Mikey,
I recommend Mapei's 'Ultracolour Blanco 100' which is a powdered grout that includes all the additives of flexibility, waterproof and fights against blackspot and mould. All Tile Giant stores have a wide range of colours and 2 sized bags - 2kg & 5kg.

Hope this helps!

If you are after bright white, then use the BAL one.. Sorry to say but Mapei's white isn't a bright white..

Mapei's white is more grey than white, hence i haven't used it in years, but still use all of Mapei's other colours
