Fred as wetdec says Now this only aplies to lateral movement thats movement accross the surface not vertical movement. eg the floor expands or contracts.

Fastflex is probably the best stuff you can use directly onto chipboard (along with Ardex 7001) though BAL don't recommend tiling straight onto chipboard at all.

Was the grout used a flexible grout or is there a lot of "bounce" in the floor?

Porcelain tiles, addy and grout were all supplied by the tile supplier so they should have known to use flexi grout. The customer is concerned about the height difference from bathroom to hall. If I quoted 6mm hardibacker with membrane, is this sufficient?

the plastic ply, isnt this just a replacement for eml mesh ?and what is the advantages of this over eml or ditra ?and that pva primer on the video do nicobond still recommend this as a primer ?

Um now your asking we are only just running some tests on it to get some confidence but it will be competitive.

I will post about it later on in the week just put that in cos you pulled up the pdf.

Soon tho
