Hi,

I'm getting some tiling done tomorrow. The bathroom is about 7 x 7 feet. The tiles I've bought are 248mm x 498mm.

I know zero about tiling so wondering if these tiles are an appropriate size or too big.

Going across the room would be about 4-5 of them. It seems to be the style these days to have huge tiles.

Thanks,
Ed.

No they are not to big . By today's standards they are smaller than most tiles I fit day in day out and I'm not one to say that I specialise in large tiles it's just what's being fitted . Do get ready though to have some waste as proportionally largish tiles in a small space can higher amount of waste depending on your tile layout.
