Yeah as I said above, it HAS to come up.
It's not difficult,typically it pretty much falls apart compared to a regular type screed.
If it contains asbestos should it not be removed by a specialist contractor and if not us it OK to take waste to municipal dump

It's only a possibility.
That amongst other things like sawdust were used as fillers. So there's no real way of knowing.
Unless a test exists.
It's not an asbestos based product, and normal throwaway overalls, mask and gloves would be more than adequate I'd imagine.
I've never seen professionals use much else apart from a better mask, but it's their job, they would need one.
And I'm sure it wouldn't take much research to find where to dump it.
Removal from site is not something I would ever have to deal with, cos I don't do 'waste removal' of any kind. :)
