levelling
Levelling or leveling (American English; see spelling differences) is a branch of surveying, the object of which is to establish or verify or measure the height of specified points relative to a datum. It is widely used in geodesy and cartography to measure geodetic height, and in construction to measure height differences of construction artifacts.
It is also known as spirit levelling and differential levelling.

Anybody used these and have any feedback?
I sort of like the idea but dunno if it is worth the money as they are quite expensive and you would need 1000's of pieces for some jobs. My dad who has 40+years of experience would like to know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Jack
