listen to the first thing he says on this video, (diy doctor tiling a bathroom,part 3), what do you think ?

That guy is unreal! I watched it up to the point where he said you shouldn't Silicon round the bath you should grout it to allow water to drain out if it gets behind the tiles!!!! Would love to have been in the audience to question his methods, will watch more of that later for a laugh

And that you should apply it with a sponge rather than a grout float!

no joke, my mate told me he put a video of me on youtube when i singing along to the radio at work, turns out he was on a wind up but found this video and couldnt believe it lol

Once he said tiles are waterproof I stopped watching, I work with fools on a daily basis so I don't want to listen to one in my spare time! As a tiler he'd make a great street sweeper.

There should be a law against sites like that! Saying that I'm sure he must have given the advice to the guy who did the job I ripped out today!
my client had a leak and water had got under the ditra, tiles popped, UHF burnt out,ply swollen!Disaster,The so called tiler did the plumbing to and I've never seen anything quite so bad. Where the leak was the ditra was floating but the rest of the floor was ridiculously hard to get up, when I removed the bath panel(tiled with no access) I found about 50 empty bottles of superglue? I wish I could swear on here!
in the shower he had broken through to the cavity exterior wall, from shower tray to shower head height six inches wide then boarded over with 3/8 plasterboard, set the shower valve with rapid set straight to brick!
