For £125+VAT a year we could join a scheme to say that we are safe to trade with online.

Link to their site

In your opinion is this just a waste of £125 or would you put some stock into it.

So if you saw this symbol then would you think more of 365drills as an online retailer - or would you not care.

£125 a year for us - Is that another bill we dont need? Or are we missing a vital e-commerce tool

Unless they have some sort of guarantee to refund money from some sort of collective fund when and if a trade turns to custard i'm not sure it would make much differnece to a customer. What kind of authority and power would ISIS have to back up their claim that another company is safe to deal with? That would be my concern as a customer. But as a retailer it might give some sense of security to some people.
I think if it were me i might be asking myself if i really need it if i already have a good reputation for quality products and service? I might draw a few new customers though and for them is it worth the money spent to draw them in? Could be, as internet shopping is fast becoming the no. 1 preference for shopping.

Millions of fols spend far more online than your product cots - no offence. they buy from companies who dont have a safe seller type stamp. These sort of schemes and stamps can very easily be forged anyway. I know that when i am looking to buy online from a company i dont know i check the company out first to make sure it is a real company. Cant really think what a "safe stamp" on an interenet site would do to help. Waste of dosh in my opinion.

I would say it's a waste of money.
As per most of the previous comments, I look for the "padlock" in the address bar when committing sensitive information and not some random logo that claims a company is safe to trade with.

Other than provide you with a logo, what else are they going to do for you?
