Which Wet cutter? Rubi D ND-180-BL vs Plas' Master?

Hi all,

I've been twisting my melon trying to decide which wet saw to buy for under £100. Many people like the Plasplugs Master tiler but I've read about a wobble on the cutting wheel.

Is the new Rubi ND-180-BL a better wet saw or is there anything else around better than the Master tiler? Is the Plasplugs Contractor wet saw any good?

Cheers,
Scruffa

^^^ thats my next cutter.... the master tiler is a good all round cutter , put a decent blade in it and you are sorted , never tried the rubi , but all that is rubi aint always gold... you are better off with a cutter with a sealed water tank for using indoors..

I have just bought the aforementioned cutter mike is advising on. Havent used it yet as but I have heard from a reliable source that the same rubi 180 can be bought without the rubi badge for 40 notes.

I can link you if you really want one however I am well happy with the build quality of the norton, the two blades and also the tilting table which I am sure will be able to hold up to some large mitres.

ps 800w motor too!

Thanks to everyone for the advice.

Thanks in particular to Mike Strutter for his link to the:

Norton Clipper TT200EM.

Does anyone know if it has a sealed water tank for using indoors?

But there's no reference to it...

Might be a daft question but why does it need to be sealed?

Could just find a big tray to sit the cutter in, Stops water dripping on the the floor but watch the walls if you do cut inside
