I wouldn't go over the top if I won the equivialent of a million pounds. I'd buy a nice house in a nice neighbourhood (mid end, not top end, too expensive) which I'd renovate and decorate to my own specs. I'd buy a brand new Saab 95 as a personal car (largest most powerful engine with the big turbo charger), and a new van, etc.. I'd replace my entire wardrobe, buy a ****load of top-end tools, a new computer, and I'd put a hefty sum in the bank, for the sake of interest and future investment. I'd probably buy a ****load of stuff for my family and friends too. In the end I'd probably have a couple of hundred k's left, except that in the bank.
