Hi,
Just interested to find out what the most common size tile spacers are used for walls?
Any advise?

2mm and 3mm, probably 2mm more but all depends on size of tile, type of tile and what type of look you or the customer wants to achieve.

If we are talking about the actual plastic spacers then i would say 2mm. If you were asking what the most common space to leave between tiles then i would say 2mm or 3mm.It would all depends on the tile being used and teh effect that was required. I recently was asked for 6mm and coarse grout on the wall tiling.
But as for buying a pack of spacers you will find 2mm the most popular sold.

I used 3mm spacers on a kitchen on a new housing development. 2 days later the tiles were scraped off the wall and thrown in the skip. The reason being that I should have used 2mm spacers. Nobody told me!!! To be honest, I could hardly tell the difference.

2mm as a general rule but 3 if the tiles are 'cheap' and are of different sizes!
