So How Was Your Day?

Have we all had a good week then? I know @JulianSidney has as he won a hoody today from our sponsor @Tile Fix Direct over on Instagram 😀

I've been back today to seal up the split face fireplace I tiled last month. One final coat tomorrow morning.

It seems the months are flying by already and spring is on the horizon!

The forum is thriving again so on behalf of all the staff here I just wanted to say thanks for your input over the past year. Its only as good as we make it and we have all been putting in and it shows. It's still the one place people consistently come for quality advice, manufacturer support, friendly banter and once again to win some prizes!!!

Long may it continue 🙂

I done a good deed today and fostered a dog......

🙂🙂🙂

I went today to help another tiler get through some work. Four smallish bathroom floors. He'd already cut and prepared 3 and I did the other this morning. Then this afternoon we got all four tiled in under 3 hours.
Now my right shoulder is slathered in tiger balm and I regret not slowing down and acting my age ... 🙁

Painful!
After the rain finally stopped I managed to make a start on these.

Only managed this much after 3.5 hours, although I am mixing by hand.

Massive respect for all you stone/large format chaps that do this kind of lifting day in day out.

More tomorrow, if I can get out of bed.🙁

100mm MOT, 5/1 sharp sand/cement mix at around 30mm, I’m too tight to buy the calibrated stone, slabs primed with Tilemaster Prime Grip.
