yes have used it today on some porcelonasa formas blanco and on a madras arena floor tile cut great ,with a new wheel

Thats a ceramic tile no?. Least it still works. I did find a rare looking Sigma at a shop in Norfolk still with the original labels on it. Will search the computer for the pic and post it. 70's style.

The formas is a ceramic wall tile the madras is a solid non slip floor tile and i mean harder than porcelain,how old is the model i have?

We still sell them!. There still in the brochure on the same page as the 7F 37cm. you can still get the pads, handle & slide guide for them. Not sure when they started making them but I can find out. you may have an early one.

What model is that ? sir ramic? i have a similar one but my trays have holes in also own another one which is just under a 600 cutter and i have never seen one before or after the same

From what i was told today its been in the yard for at least 10 years and my boss said it was the cutter he gave to apprentices and the oldest apprentice remembers having it and hes in his early 40's but wasnt sure if he had it from the off,if he did its 20+ yrs old.

It's good they last so long. (for you lot not for me that is.) I will ask Italy when they started making this model.

I know i know Neale... you have the right to abuse me over being so adamant all those years that my Rubi cutters were better :lol: ... i now know better and love my sigmas ... and the wheels just go and go and go ... no collapsing like the rubi ones..
did you not dabble with Monty cutters a year or two back Dave...then went back to Rubi??:lol:
