Hi

First time poster so take it easy! :-D

What screws should I use to secure a bathroom cabinet to a tiled wall with plasterboard underneath?

They need to be long screws (2") and pretty thick (10mm)

Any ideas?

Needs to be faster than my other half chucking me out the house!

is the plasterboard on studs or dot and dabbed onto block wall?

butterfly bolts best then. IMO

Be careful with some of the gravity toggles as they have two small lugs which normaly grab the plaster to stop them spinning, they wont grab on tiles!

I prefer fischer cavity anchors myself over toggle bolts. If i'm using these then I insert them into the wall before tiling then place a precut tile over the top

This is a rad I did this week with them, three fixings are more than enough for the weight of this radiator

Personally I'd use 10mm grey UNO Plugs - available online or good builders merchants and I think Screwfix and B & Q do them now too - fab for plasterboard but equally good going through tiles into board

We supply the tile drills

Guaranteed not to break your fitted tiles

You can also use the larger cores on things like fischer fixing kits for basins etc
