Removing tiles

[Aspect Tiling]

I've been asked to quote for the removal of 80m2 of 600x600 porcelain tiles due to a dispute surrounding faulty tiles with the supplier and customer. I've removed plenty of individual tiles with an sds and chisel but wondered if anyone has done a large area like this? Most of the powered strippers I can see for hire are designed for vinyl tiles/carpet. Any recommendations for a heavy duty stripper (of the tile variety)!

I'd seriously consider going on a hourly rate and then use your SDS.

And I'd get 2 or 3 labourers and charge them out as tilers, you DONT want to sell yourself short on this, could work well but could be a right pig and get payment terms as sounds like both parties will be wanting to re-coup cost and it'll end up on the tilers toes as everything always bloody does!..

Another thing to consider is are you going to be responsible for making the substrate good after removal? That could be a serious quantity of slc!
