Hi, I have removed the floor tiles from my kitchen floor but need to get the adhesive type cement up. Ive used a sds drill with chisel attachment to get the tiles up but the cement is not so easy. I was thinking of hiring a machine from HSS Hire advertised as ''floor tile removal kit and just wondered if anyone has used this machine before and if so was it easy to use and did it do the job well. This is the web address for the tool.

any advice or info from anyone who has used this tool would be greatly appreciated

Can you not just use a self levelling compound over the old adhesive or is there a height issue ? The item you have listed will work but its hard and dusty work.

hi, yes there is a height issue, the same floor in the hallway which and this is going to have underfloor heating mat first as well so need the start point to be as low as possible!
