Its a shame the customer wouldn't pay the extra few quid to come up a couple of rows to fininsh off that window reveal nicely.

Also, it would have been ideal to tile all that partition to the inside corner by the toilet.

But I bet the customer was on a mega tight budget??

Nice work though mate 🙂

Yeah its what she wanted just to come up to the sill and not go into the reveal so thats what she got.

Thanks for reply.
Steve.

Nice tiles those, they look clean but not too clinical. Good work too 🙂

Very nice job mate,

I think we're all guilty of thinking it would have been better if customers had done this or that... but that's cos we're only mere men (or so the mrs tells me) we can't see anything but the tiles, they can see the colour contrasts with the paper, mirrors and blinds they are putting up...

As far as the 'stepped' wall go's mate, depending on the depth theres not alot you can do unless you stud it out and board it. Well done🙂

Hi,

Thanks for that, Wivers the drop was 10mm but as i said wasn't comfy with bedding out with cement in case it went wrong,if it was my own house i would have had a go then only blame myself. So tiled as two seperate walls but as the shower door comes right up two the edge of the trim almost, it looks ok.

Cheers Steve.

Hi RonRob,

yes i could have but you have to weigh things up and i'm not a time served tiler so sometimes you think of things in hindsight, ie: it would have looked crap at the base as there would have been huge drop to skirting although i could have put new skirt on, the job was cheap favour for a friend i only charged her £100 and that was for a little plumbing as well. Lets say i did plasterboard the wall, what with adhesive and tile there would have been around 20mm drop to wall at top where trim has to go, can you get 20mm trim? Any info would be grateful,

cheers Steve.
