How could a tile fall off no matter what clip is used?

Should take a bit more force than a little chunk of plastic to pull a tile off a wall, are you using a suitable size trowel and back skimming the tiles?

How could they fall off with a solid bed?
Have you got a pic of the levelling system you used?

And the bases are thicker plastic so you have to hit them harder with the mallet..

I’ve no idea, but when I looked at the back of the tile there was hardly any contact with the adhesive. Ain’t like I used a different trowel depth so why would only 3 tiles not contact but all others are fine?

Did you back butter the tiles? Or back trowel them? What size tiles are we talking? Which adhesive?

Weber standard set normal, 400 x 150.. no didn’t back butter/trowel them.

Thats your problem, also too small a notched trowel, wouldn't use less than 10mm with clips..

I’m sure we had the conversation about back buttering. What about the 120 x 60 tiles you installed?
