All,

I used limescale remover on a small piece of black slate. And of course it made the surface cloudy instead of glossy black. I didn't leave it on for long. Is there anything I can do to restore any of the darkness or gloss?

Tested on a small discreet area not in main view did we!
How small a piece?
How cloudy?
How much of a polish?

Have you tried a permanent black marker!
Have you used Johnson wax polish!

If its a full tile - it may be better to take it up.

It's a full tile and not that out of view--oops. However, it's also not that cloudy, just a slight tinge of white. It wasn't high gloss to begin with--kind of a matt finish. I honestly think anything a tad bit oily would restore its sheen. I'll try an enhancing sealant. Thanks!

Maybe Johnson Wax polish first.
