Hello to everyone and thank's for all your generous advice.Although I've been a joiner for 25 years,my work is now often doing bathrooms - plastering,plumbing,tiling,decorating - the lot (how many fat tradesmen can you fit in a bathroom at one time?) So the advice in here,especially on adhesives and substrate preparation is very helpful to me.If you need any wood butchering advice,I,like all builders will have an opinion.
