It's been a while since I've laid an opus layout, probably 3 years, they don't seem as popular as they once were, I think it's a timeless layout, anyway I have just completed this one in Derbyshire and thought I would share it. 185w underfloor heating fitted first, then the stone, which took on 5 litres of sealer. I had to tile around the island and it's end panels. That’s really nice, I do like natural stone.

Plus a bit of cable **** for my ocd, lovely!

The customer spent ages pondering grout, I did a sample board with 3 different colours on. It's always tricky with this sort of stone I find.
I agree but i always try and steer towards grey especially if the kitchen has kids and pets etc....

Nice bit of silver sand and cement for me in a stone floor.
Why try blend grout when you go to trouble of having traditional stone floor and you barely see pattern!
Don’t make sense to me.
Not my floor tho.
