I can see the patience and time involved but for me, I'm not a fan. It's a semi mitre really as there is still a grout line and still tile edge showing.

True it it a semi mitre.
The German guy who used to come on here would mitre them, then bond them. So a perfect mitre.
I would not have the time or patience.

don't understand why it's chipping, never had a problem with and porcelain. What technique do you use?

There is no secret tool or technique it takes practice and time to build your grinder and polishing skills, there are a few good tips
Clamp your work piece
Follow the spin of the blade when you cut or polish , pulling the grinder or polisher against the direction of the spin of the blade will cause chipping to the delicate edge
Polish the tile on slow speed or even better wet cut with the grinder and wet polish with the polisher it will keep the tile edge cool and you will avoid chipping ,
Hand finish the mitre with a diamond hand pad
Leave on 0.5- 1mm of the biscuit

What is porcelthin like to mitre?
Like anything else Chalker, once u've had enough practice, fairly straight forward l spose.
But it still suffers all the same problems as any porcelain.
Easy to make mistakes tho as its so thin to start with.

I'm still testing the Montolit super profiler at home, if I can find a way for it to work perfectly everytime it'll be brilliant.
I haven't reviewed it on here yet cos it's still only got a 50/50 success rate and I wouldn't wanna say rush out and buy one till I know how to get it higher.
