Has my Tiler done a good Job ?

Hi Guys,

My question is, is my floor tiles laid correctly. used a local tiler, please see the images, these tiles are 600x600 polished marble effect porcelain floor tiles.

Should the Marble effect veins flow in same direction or is it correct to flow randomly, personally how would you have had the marble veins flow ?

Some of your veins run at 90 degrees to the others but as it an oblong tile how is he meant to make them run the same direction as the others, it's impossible

How are you meant to get them to run the same way with none square tiles?
I take it you picked and bought the tiles?

OP says it's a 600x600 tile.
although my first thoughts were oblong.
maybe it's the way the photos been taken.

imo if you can't match the veins to run through then random pattern looks best.

did you specifically ask your tiler to run the veins all one way...???

I would have laid them the same way due to the amount of exact repeat pattern tiles in a small space.

as most things it's a personal choice...
there's no wrong way or right way...
but if a customer doesn't specify his personal choice, and leaves it to the tiler, then it is what it is...

I mean the same was as the tiler has laid them, not the veins the same way.

The tile will have an arrow on the back. Id say he has not laid them according to the arrow..
