Discuss Grout joint width in the Adhesive and Grout area at TilersForums. The USA and UK Tiling Forum (Also now Aus, Canada, ROI, and more)
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.I'm fixing some 1200 x 200 planks with a 3mm joint so if you reduced your grout joint to 2mm you would still have more grout width per metre than me
That is exactly what i will be doing, thank you.As long as you fix the tiles correctly and have a perimeter expansion if going to skirting boards should be fine
It's an "s" shaped hallway approx 9 sqm. Largest area 2m x 3mHow big an area is it ?
Ok , just checking it wasnt a large area , too tight a joint could cause tenting. It's an "s" shaped hallway approx 9 sqm. Largest area 2m x 3m
Thanks for your concern. I would just add that the sun shines in from first light so the tiles will get quite warm in the summer.Ok , just checking it wasnt a large area , too tight a joint could cause tenting.
