Wood's better

Evening all;

I have levelled up a floor on joists, removed chipboard and fixed 25mm ply. I need to fix 6mm hardi over the top.

I understand the need to use adhesive underneath to take up voids in the floor. However, in my scenario it is flat, do I really need to do this or can I just fix it straight to the ply?

Any thoughts greatfully received.

Richard.

I always use addy too, leaves no room for error and is the recommended way to install.
