Im a toon supporter but watched that match today !!!!
Did united pay the ref to send the city captain(and centre back) off????
That decision was a joke as usual and IMO changed the game.

Haha hillhead, they didn't pay the ref, they just dropped Howard Webb after his poor display at Newcastle and brought in Chris Foy.

It was a great game today, no question about that.

The letter of the law says that a two footed tackle earns a red card. But all this gathering round the ref business, MR ROONEY, trying to get players sent off is disgraceful. What I want to know though is why didn't that philanderer, sorry Mr Clean, Ryan Giggs get sent off for his tackle from behind? That is also a red card according to the laws.

This what spoils the game, inconsistency from refs.

I see Natasha Giggs is on that celebrity reality show - not the first time she's been on Big Brother though, is it? :lol:
