Hi I have just installed a travatine floor and now want to seal it, I have cleaned the floor of any excess adhesive put still have a layer of dust on it, do I need to get rid of this before sealing, and if so what is the best method of doing this, or can I just go ahead and seal the floor? Cheers

Is the best way to get rid of the dust just to hoover the floor?
if you wash the floor the dust will go...but it sounds like grout residue dried on...remove with lithofen cement away then when clean seal your trav....Gaz

wipe the dust off with a clean fluff free cloth or the likes of blueroll, then go over with a hoover and then the cloth again, that should do the trick...Mark.

the best way i have found to get rid of any surface dust prior to sealing is c ontinual washing until you are satisfied stone is ready for a coat of sealer prior to grouting
