Its absolutely disgusting, I blame all the water and coffee drinkers. I drink coffee out of a mug or nothing and water out of the tap into my screwcap bottle.

I'm not sure i can bring myself to watch the program, I can only hope it shakes up some big changes. I feel this plastic crisis has been coming to a head for several years. Very sad

A well known fast food outlet near me started using cardboard straws a few months back, took the kids on Saturday and they were using plastic again!
Refused to use them.
But the microscopic synthetic fibres from our clothing that ends up back into the food chain is very worrying.
Not sure how we can stop that.

There is a plastic island in the South Pacific larger than India!
Across the world, 1 million plastic bottles are bought every minute with only 7% being recycled!
Also experts predict that plastic waste will outweigh the fish in the oceans by 2050!

Anybody that’s been to America will know we are wasting our time, they wrap the wrappings to keep them clean, never seen so much wasteful ways as over there
