Cutting natural stone

This might seem a stupid question but i'm doing my 1st natural stone job and i'm having trouble cutting the tiles. Could anybody please give me any tips. Cheers

What stone are you cutting and what cutter are you using?

Is it a wet cutter and what model is it...might not be powerful enough?
