cracked floor..

looked at a 40m2 floor today, 75mm screed, sand cement, over wet ufh, the floor has quite a few cracks in it, from what i can gather is the plumber commisioned the heating by turning it right up from the start..

will this be ok to tile with a decoupler, it dosn't sound hollow or look as if its come loose, the tiles he's using is 600x600 pors..

how far have the cracks travelled and how deep are they?
are the cracksi in a few areas or crazed all over the screed?

there not very wide or deep and not all over the screed, just in a few places..

hard to see how far they have traveled as the new kitchen yet to be fitted is sat all over the floor, but i would say from what i could see the longest crack was about 2 metres

thats good, its probably just the surface thats took the brunt of the expansion. if its solid and there are no more cracks forming when the ufh has been on, then id go ahead. looks like a lucky escape though mate.

I would have the cracks repaired with a low viscosity epoxy to stabilise them first and then ditra would be fine.
