I am starting my aunties kitchen floor on sat and need sone advice, its a galley kitchen shape and only has 1 wall were i can measure off would i be able to measure off the kick boards to find centre of the floor and do i go with the biggest measurement to avoid any deviance?

Yes, you can take your measurement from the plinths to get your room centre if you can't do it from the walls. Are you planning to tile up to the plinths? You are always better to remove your plinths, tile under the units slightly & cut your plinths to suit. Leaves a much neater finish and makes removal of your plinths far easier in the future

if you cut your plinths make sure you cut the top of them rather than bottom so the customer cant see the cut if that makes sense. (not unless they get on their hands and knees and have a look anyway)

Thanks for the help guys, the tiles are glazed porcelain so what spacer size would you use i was thinking of a 2mm/3mm??

I base it on size of tile, size of room, colour of grout compared to tile & incorporate what the customer would like
