Just wondered... like.....

Forums looking more like the BBC news desk at the moment with the saturation of news feeds getting posted :huh2:

Just wondered if this was just a very short test thing, or is it going to be for the long term now ?

I logged on the other day and was trying to find the new "tiling releated" threads burried under all the news feeds, and one headline was kind of "grabbing", something about someone being raped.
I know it's news, but I don't come on here to look at threads about people being raped and murdered.

Hoh, hum....

Just thought I'd say this, as this is a good forum, but if I wanted to read about people being raped and murdered and what not, I'd go onto the BBC site.... which I don't

Well put Fekin mate, Was thinking along the same lines but never got round to putting my thoughts down.

These posting's are by news spider bots through rss feeds...i will express your concerns to admin for you.....

i too was going to question it but i bottled out!:47: :computer:

me too...

click on new posts to find 4 pages of new posts, "happy days" i thought... until I noticed 2 3rds were BBC stories lol (some of which were interesting I have to add!!)

I don't buy news papers because they depress me, someone was given 42 bedroom house with merc thrown in :furious3: :mad2: and had 10 kids and mini bus as a second motor

I listen to the radio, read the papers and watch TV for the news, That's enough, I come here for Tiling info

sick of it.

This is just so typical of most things on the internet. Someone trying to spoil peoples interests. What was a great forum with excellent members has been reduced to a free for all for anybody to throw crud about. What next? :furious3: :mad2:

I think in fairness to Admin, as of the present time, 14:36 on Wed 12th Dec 07 there appears to have been no more unwanted news bulletins. Maybe he has done something about it. lets not get too down on the forum, the people who contribute haven't changed, neither has the quality of the content as far as I can see. It is still a good place to communicate.

Glad I could find some actual tiling topics here amongst the disgraced news corporations burblings.

A BBC News spokesman has catagorically refuted the claim that these links have no related tiling topic to them,he added.. "to prove the point I will post the relevant deatails on each story as it comes hot off the press".....

If we are going to get News Bulletins, then at least can we have have them from the Daily Sport., with plenty of half naked women.
He He !!!

Sorry about that lads. I was toying around with the RSS feeds and thought I'd add some news to the forum. Cearly I didn't think it would take over the place though. Oops.

I've now stopped the feed and we can return to tiling talk. 🙂

I had started to rely to them stating reasons why they were tile related...was just starting to have some fun....pmsl
